My name is Cameron Mullinax and I am from Brooklyn, New York. I have many hobbies and love to play sports. I’m on the lacrosse team here at the University of Tampa. I also love to go fishing. when I’m in New York I go fishing in Montauk, Long Island. I can’t wait to find new fishing spots in Tampa!
My first feelings of the class are good, it seems to very entertaining. I look forward to all of the unique projects that are ahead. I also look forward to meeting all of my new classmates. I received a very good vibe from this class. I look forward to the rest of this year.
I expect to learn a lot from this class. Art is somewhat a new learning topic for me. I also expect a friendly and kind enviroment. Art and Technology are very interesting topics. I hope to leave this class with a new sense of knowledge for either of these topics, but most importantly I would like to have fun.

Artist Statement
The Drawing “The Right Eye of the Storm” was inspired by the correlation between the human eye and the eye of a hurricane. My overall vision for this piece was to include as much detail and contrast as possible to represent the relation between the eye and the storm. Another inspiration of this piece is the hurricane currently hitting the Carolinas. I created this so people can think about the strokes of the colored pencil. Most importantly the drawing is meant to be enjoyed by others.
